ASIC Miners in Oman
Buyers in Oman have two routes, and the right one usually comes down to whether you have somewhere to run the machine. Import it and run it yourself, or buy it and have us arrange hosting so it never crosses a border at all. We supply new and used Antminer and Whatsminer hardware from our Deira workshop in Dubai, and we’ll quote both routes in the same message so you can compare them properly.
Route One: Take Delivery
Collection from 180 Al Khabaisi, Unit 20612-G-006, Deira, Dubai is the default and the cheapest route, and it’s realistic for anyone making the drive. The workshop is open Mon–Thu & Sat 10 AM–6 PM, Fri 10 AM–12 PM & 2:30–6 PM GST, and collecting in person means you can watch a used unit running on the bench before you pay for it.
Where collection isn’t practical, delivery is available wherever we can arrange it and quoted per shipment. Cost depends on the destination, the weight and the number of units, so it tends to make more sense at volume than on a single machine.
Customs clearance, duties and import compliance in Oman are the buyer’s responsibility. We supply the hardware and the export paperwork on our side, and the quote states exactly which is which. Shipping paperwork is often included in the channel, but it is never guaranteed. If this is your first import, a licensed clearing agent is worth the cost.
Route Two: Buy It and Have It Hosted
If you don’t have industrial power and a suitable site, importing hardware solves nothing. The machine arrives and then sits.
Hosting removes the whole question. You buy the miner, we place it, get it hashing and keep it monitored, and you watch it from your pool dashboard from anywhere. The hardware, the pool account and everything it earns stay yours. Nothing crosses a border, there’s no clearing agent, and no site to prepare.
What Happens When Something Fails
This is the part worth thinking through before you decide. A machine running in Oman that develops a fault has to come back across the border to reach a bench, then go home again, with clearance in both directions. A hosted machine doesn’t move at all, and it’s diagnosed by the same technicians who run our repair workshop.
That doesn’t make importing wrong. At farm scale with your own site and staff, it’s clearly right. On one or two units it’s the consideration most buyers overlook until it costs them.
Testing and Warranty
Used units run the full protocol before they leave Deira: bench test under load, a recorded stability test at rated hashrate, the hashrate and temperature log shared with you, factory-default firmware and serial-number photos before dispatch. New units ship sealed, because opening one would void your manufacturer’s warranty.
Warranty depends on how you take delivery. New machines carry 12 months from Bitmain or MicroBT, claimed directly with them. Used machines collected from the workshop carry 3 days, handled case by case. Used machines shipped outside Dubai carry none, and the testing evidence stands in its place. You can attend the test in person or receive video of your specific unit running before it’s packed, and on an export order that evidence is the protection.
